This was the first image I shot at the wave formation. The silhouetted person is me. I wanted to capture my near frustration at trying to photograph such an awe-inspiring place.
The shaft of light burns out the sand but gives a warm yellow glow to the rest of the canyon.
The shape in the center of this one reminded me of a bird arching its neck upward.
This image had much more light from above to work with. I tried to get a composition that maximized the light and shadows.
The triangular shaft of light at the center-top of the image drew my attention. This image probably has most contrast between dark and light of all the images I have from Antelope Canyon.
One of the outstanding compositions that really displays what "the wave" formation is all about. It makes you wonder how rock gets this way. This image has a Photoshop effect that increases contrast and adds a bit of blur for a dreamy look.

View from the top of the wave formation. Looks like surfer's paradise!
A morning walk at Bryce Canyon yields beautiful views as the snow melts.
